Massage Therapy

The therapist will go through the client's personal information and health history, assess the musculoskeletal system and propose a treatment plan before providing the therapy. Treatment may include a combination of therapeutic manual therapy with oil, cupping, and tuina as modalities within the Scope of Practice of Massage Therapy.

Prenatal & Post-partum massage

Prenatal & post-partum massage are specialized forms of therapy designed to address the needs of people during pregnancy and after childbirth. This therapy can help alleviate discomfort such as back pain, swelling, sore muscles, and fatigue.

Zen Shiatsu

Zen Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork that involves applying gentle pressure to specific points along the body's meridian line using fingers, palms, knees, and elbows. Shiatsu also improves blood circulation and relieves pain, tension, and stress using various methods of guided stretching. 

Shiatsu treatments will be done on a mat & client will be fully clothed during the session. We recommend to wear loose/ thin clothing.

Chiropractic care & Orthotics

Chiropractic treatment focuses on diagnosing and treating issues related to the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine. 

Chiropractors use manual adjustments and spinal manipulations to realign the spine, improve mobility, and relieve pain. This treatment can address conditions like back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, joint pain, and sports injuries. It’s a non-invasive, drug-free approach aimed at improving overall physical function and health.

Acupuncture 

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points to balance the flow of energy within the body. Balance of energy promotes health and alleviates pain or other symptoms by stimulating the body's natural healing process.

Facial and Scalp Massage & Acupuncture

Reducing tension on the face, scalp, jaw and neck by manipulating the soft tissue, followed by Gua Sha (scrapping) working on the fascia and lymphatic drain to reduce swelling. Continued with insertion of microdermal needles (optional).

Herbal Consultation & Prescription

This appointment will ONLY include the assessment and herbal prescription consultation. No Chinese herbal medicine will be dispensed on that day. We will provide medicine at an extra cost on a follow-up visit (not covered by your insurance coverage ) or you can obtain them at our recommended herbal stores.

Request for Chinese medicine treatment (acupuncture and/or cupping) will require extra fee.
